Owl booties

OK so I started these owl booties last night. I had a mess up somewhere. They look legit but I'm short 2 stitches so I have to go back and do it again. I'm making them for a friend who's due in January but here's a pic of my booties.

I'll post the link to the pattern and when I'm finished post a finished pic.

Pattern found here: Owl Booties

Fixed my boo boos and now have 2 booties with side buttons. I'll post the finished pic also after all done but as for now....
FINISHED!!!

A little about me and what I do.

I just started this blog today. I'm wanting to show what I have made, how to make things I'm making, or in the future will make, show people who I've made items from (their patterns I followed or inspired by their work), and reviews and tuts of stuff through pictures or videos.

I currently crochet, knit, loom knit, sew, and scrapbook. I just picked up scrapbooking and I have a very SMALL stash at the moment, but I'm working on building that up. Of course if you have any suggestions please fill free to leave comments on what I should start buying, or some things I should consider trying.

As for crochet, knit, loom knit, and sew, I have been doing those for a while now and greatly enjoy them. I have a terrific amount of yarn, and a decent amount of fabric to help go further in those crafts. I hope to show you everything I'm making and plan on making so you can make it too.

That's just a little about me. Here's a couple pictures of some things that I have done.

Crochet:

(Pattern found here: Monster Hat

(Pattern found here: Frog Hat & then added ear flaps)

Loom Knit:

Sew:

All pants I make I follow this style of making them: Pant Tut

I haven't taken any pictures of the stuff I have scrapbooked since I am so new I'm still working on that, and as for knitting. I don't know why but I don't have any pictures available to me of what I have knitted. I will have to get some pictures.

Thank you for coming to The Crafting Nest, and please watch out for more posts, pictures, and videos to come.
